Championship-level PGA Jr. League competition for committed, competitive junior golfers.

The Team Timby Elite PGA Jr. League Program represents the highest level of junior team golf at Timberlin. Built on competitive standards, accountability, and player development, this program prepares juniors for elite team competition and future opportunities in competitive golf.

In 2025, Team Timby 13U Elite proudly represented Team Connecticut at the PGA Junior League National Championship, competing against the top junior teams from across the country—an achievement that reflects the strength, culture, and expectations of this program.

2026 Team Formation & Qualification

For the 2026 PGA Jr. League season, Team Timby Elite will continue to operate at a championship-level standard. To ensure fairness, competitive balance, and readiness, the following qualification guidelines apply.

🔹 Qualification Required

Players must qualify for the 2026 Team Timby Elite all-star team roster if:

• They are new to the Team Timby PGA Jr. League program, or

• They will be playing from a different tee box than the previous season due to age advancement

Qualifying sessions will be announced prior to the season, with approximately four (4) opportunities expected.

These sessions evaluate:

• Scoring ability from the assigned tee box

• Competitive readiness

• Overall fit for elite team competition

🔹 Automatic Exemptions

The following players will receive automatic exemption for the 2026 season:

• Members of the 2025 PGA Jr. League National Championship Team

• Players competing from the same tee box as the previous season

Automatic exemptions include:

• Guaranteed roster placement

• Placement on the #1 All-Star Team for Team Timby

This policy honors both performance and continuity while preserving the integrity of the elite program.

Elite Eligibility Requirement

To participate in the Elite PGA Jr. League program, players must have recorded:

✅ A 9-hole score of 45 or lower

In an individual tournament on one of the following tours:

• Under Armour Junior Tour

• U.S. Kids Golf Tour

• CT PGA Junior Tour

• High School Match

This benchmark ensures players are prepared for the competitive demands of elite PGA Jr. League play.

League Structure & Season Details

• League Type: In-house PGA Jr. League at Timberlin

• Regular Season: Mid-June through end of July

• Qualifying Matches: 4–5 matches used for evaluation and All-Star consideration

Practices

• Practices are optional due to players’ individual tournament schedules

• Practice schedule: TBD

All-Star Teams & Play Days

Due to the size and depth of the Timberlin PGA Jr. League program, the goal is to form two (2) All-Star teams.

To be selected for an All-Star team:

• Players must meet all qualifying requirements

All-Star Play Days

• Optional PGA Jr. League–format matches

• Competition against other teams

• Excellent opportunity for additional high-level match experience

What Each Player Receives

Each Elite PGA Jr. League player will receive:

• 👕 Two high-quality team jerseys
  (Boys’ and girls’ sizes, customized with team name and jersey number)

• 🎁 Official team kit with gifts

• ⛳ Kick-off practice and orientation

• 🏆 4–5 qualifying matches

• 🔁 Access to All-Star Play Days

• 🌎 Opportunity for advancement to the PGA Jr. League All-Star Sub-Regional Championship
