The Booey Cup

The Booey Cup is a season long points race for Men’s Club members. It will not cost the members anything more than their entry fee in to events.  The hope is to help increase participation in events by giving incentive for playing and placing.

POINT EARNING EVENTS

All Men’s Club events (excluding Special Events) and Closest to the Pin’s

All Off-Weekend events and Off-Weekend Closest to the Pin’s

BREAKDOWN

For participating in an event you will earn the following points:

1. Men’s Club Event – 10 points
2. Off-Weekend Event – 5 points
3. Off-Weekend Closest to the Pin – 5 points

For Placing in an event you will earn the following points:

1. Men’s Club Event (for flighted events, just 1^st and 2^nd place points available)
   1. 1^st Place Gross or 1^st Place Net – 30 points
   2. 2^nd Place Gross or 2^nd Place Net – 20 points
   3. 3^rd Place Gross or 3^rd Place Net – 15 points
   4. 4^th Place Gross or 4^th Place Net – 10 points
2. Off-Weekend Event
   1. 1^st Place Gross or 1^st Place Net – 7 points
   2. 2^nd Place Gross or 2^nd Place Net – 5 points
   3. 3^rd Place Gross or 3^rd Place Net – 3 points
3. Closest to the Pin (both Men’s Club & Off-Weekend Events)
   1. 1^st Place – 10 points

The Booey Cup Playoffs begin in October. For events in October, points will be doubled in all categories.

The final event for the points race will be the 4-man Scramble with Beat the Staff Event.

For team events, each player on the team will get the full amount of points. If there is a tie, points will be split.

PRIZES (point leaders)

1^st –                  $200 Golf Shop Credit & name engraved on The Booey Cup trophy

2^nd –                 $100 Golf Shop Credit

3^rd –                 $50 Golf Shop Credit

4^th-20^th –         $5 Golf Shop Credit

Winners will be announced at the Men’s Club Fall Meeting
