Special Events

In addition to regular and tournament play each week of the golf season, the TSGA holds the following events:

Annual Breakfast- This warm and inviting function helps break up the winter doldrums and offers an opportunity for members to socialize while enjoying a reunion over breakfast. Held at the Senior Center, it consists of a breakfast plate prepared by volunteers from the Association and is served free of charge to members and prospective members in mid-February every year.

Annual Picnic- This event is usually held on a Tuesday noon in August in conjunction with our "4-Club Tournament". It is held at the Timberlin Picnic grounds and is free of charge to members. Recently, the lunch has been prepared by the restaurant concessionaire and includes hot dogs, hamburgers, salad, soda, chips, baked beans, or pasta. A small raffle usually accompanies the festivities.

Annual Banquet- A year-end banquet is the wrap-up event of the season for the Association. A fine meal is offered at an area restaurant- again at no extra charge! A choice of meals is posted in advance of this great function and usually the Mayor and the Course Superintendent attend to wish us all well. Trophys earned throughout the season are awarded at this affair and all attendees receive any "points" pay-outs they have accumulated over the season's play.
