18 Hole Municipal Golf | Berlin, CT

Lady Niners

The Timberlin Women’s Club of Berlin, CT was started in 1974 and included an 18-hole group and a 9-hole group.  In 1991, the 9-hole group separated and formed the Timberlin Lady Niners.  3 Charter Members from 1974 are still Honorary Members of the Lady Niners.  They are Nancy Dennis, Elena Rossitto, and Ann Zesk.

The Lady Niners play Thursday mornings throughout the season and the club is open to ladies of all ages and skill levels.  The goal of the group is to have a good time playing golf in a friendly, social environment.  Each week, 3 flights of different skill levels compete and someone from each flight wins every week.  The group has a variety of fun formats as well as some competitive tournaments which include all flights.  To see the formats and schedule, please click the link provided below.

The Timberlin Lady Niners also started a Tree Fund, including donations to the golf course in memory of those who have passed away.  The Tree Fund is still on going and we feel is very special.  It provides a living remembrance for many years to come.

If you are interested in joining the Timberlin Lady Niners, please contact Membership Chairman Shiela Klapatch at shielak@comcast.net.
